If you have a SuperTruss extension and are planning on towing heavy amounts of weight, it’s good to consider getting the SuperTruss SkidWheel which helps prevent your gear from hitting the ground and preventing damage to your system, especially when entering and exiting driveways with an incline.

The SkidWheel works exclusively with the SuperTruss and SUPER HITCH® towing and receiver hitch system. Installed behind the chain hook up, the SkidWheel is designed to replace the rearmost collar of the SuperTruss receiver extension. The SkidWheel is designed to protect your SuperTruss from dragging along the ground while you are driving. It works by allowing the skid wheel to make contact with the ground before the extension receiver when towing heavy loads.
